Experience chocolate differently, gluten-free, of course, with all your senses, in Slovenia’s sweetest town!

We invite you to Radovljica, known as the capital of Slovenian chocolate, where you’ll join masters from a local chocolatier to embark on a journey through the history, flavours and artistry of chocolate creation.

What does the programme include?

The tasting begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the story of the family-run chocolate shop. Then, you're taken through the history of chocolate, from its arrival in Europe in the 16th century to today's Radovljica, known as the chocolate town.

You will discover the difference between cocoa and chocolate, and what distinguishes average from premium chocolate. Guides explain how to recognise quality ingredients and what to avoid when buying.

In the practical section, you'll see a cacao tree, taste cocoa beans and fermentation juice, a rarity in chocolate workshops. We also touch on whether chocolate is truly gluten-free, with a clear answer.

The highlight is the tasting of three kinds of chocolate: white, milk, and dark with geographical origins, while you learn the proper tasting procedure.

Finally, you'll choose two pralines from a rich selection of 20-30 different flavours featuring local ingredients and original recipes.
