The first day of Gluten-Free Expo Slovenia 2025 will be dedicated to international networking, tasting delights, and creative endeavours. Expect a delightful introduction to the event, focusing on gastronomy and relaxed socialising in a charming setting.

International Cooking Workshop

We’ll kick off the morning with an interactive workshop, where you’ll have the chance to join in the preparation of gluten-free dishes from around the world. It's a great opportunity for those who love to explore new flavours and cooking techniques or simply enjoy good food.

Gluten-Free Algerian Cookery Workshop with Sefar sans gluten

Join us for a unique international culinary experience led by Said Selila and Samia Bessadi from the Algerian company Sefar sans gluten, winners of 1st place in Algeria for gluten-free cooking in 2023!

Samia and Said offer professional training courses with certified diplomas and are proud members of the National Association of Artisan Hands. Samia Bessadi is also a nutritional practitioner, and both are passionate advocates for coeliac awareness. They have appeared on numerous radio and television programmes to raise awareness about coeliac disease and how to enjoy a healthy, gluten-free lifestyle.


At this inspiring workshop, you will:


  • Discover gluten-free food traditions from Algeria

  • Cook a variety of Algerian and international gluten-free dishes

  • Gain hands-on experience in the kitchen

  • Meet new people and share experiences

  • Explore a new world of gluten-free cuisine

The afternoon will be dedicated to the culture of afternoon tea. We will explore select tea blends, the stories behind them, and how to serve them properly, and enjoy some gluten-free treats. The perfect opportunity to make new friends and/or acquaintances, try something new and enjoy a few moments of relaxation.

Two Chefs’ Dinner

The day will culminate in a dinner where two culinary masters will join forces in the kitchen. This ‘four-handed dinner’ promises to be a special culinary experience, and of course, entirely gluten-free. Places are limited.
